Snack Attack! Keep coming back!!!

Endangered Species Chocolate Bars—No Gluten, No Dairy, No Eggs, No Kidding!
These things are decadent. They come thirteen flavors, though I believe the Fred Meyer in my town only
carries three or four. I have tried the Dark Chocolate with Espresso Beans (which explains how I was able to
get the photo) and the All Natural Dark Chocolate with Cranberries and Almonds.
I like them both, but Espresso is my favorite.
They are vegan, but are processed on the same equipment as dairy, peanuts, and tree nuts, and they do contain soy.

Spicy Cocoa Nuts
See my recipe for these fast and easy treats
in my blog post here.

Brown/Blue Smoothie
This is a twist on the Sunrise Smoothie below.
Slice a ripe banana into several chunks and freeze.
About 15-20 minutes before you are ready to make
your smoothie, remove banana chunks from the
freezer, so  they can thaw a little bit, for the sake
of your blender. To your blender, add your banana
chunks, 1/2 cup blueberries (frozen or fresh),
1 tsp. cocoa, 1/2 cup vanilla flavored almond milk
(sweetened or not). Blend until smooth, pour into a
glass, stir in 4 crushed pecans and garnish with
2 more pecans on top. Slurrrrppp it up!
I noted on my blog alert for this item that
a little more cocoa and a bit of maple syrup
would make this a little tastier.

Kinnikinick KinniKritters!
These are my most recent store
find. They are a sweet little treat.
Spendy? Yes, but I only eat a few at a time,
so I won't buy them often.

Kinnikinick Donuts!
These are so tasty!
You pop them in the microwave for
10 to 15 seconds and they are warm
and amazing! Caution, these contain eggs.
Read my blog post about them here

Kohlrabi, tomatoes, and your favorite dip!
If you haven't every had it, you should
find some at your grocery store and try it. It has a
radish-like taste, but milder and with a special
taste all its own and it is good for you.
Nutrition information on the web.
On my other blog I explain how I met  this vegetable.
Yes. Those tomatoes are from our garden!

Frozen Pudding! (also suitable for dessert :)
Jell-O brand chocolate pudding mix
3 cups vanilla flavored Almond Breeze
Follow directions on the box, replacing the regular milk with
almond milk. Pour into a freezer safe container and freeze for
about 2 1/2 hours. Serve. The pudding does not set up in the
time it does with cow milk, but I will make some and leave it
in the fridge for several hours to see if it will finally set up. I
will change this when I have know for sure.

Bananas dipped in chocolate syrup!
This was served to the kiddos at our
SonQuest Rainforest Vacation Bible School.
Hershey's Dark Chocolate is gluten and dairy free.

Sunrise Smoothies: A very ripe mango, 4 bananas,
1/2 dozen strawberries, about 2 cups Almond Breeze Vanilla
Put all that stuff in a blender and process until smoothie.

Peanut Butter Apples: I used Adam's No-Stir Creamy.
